TiVo Series 3 Announcement September 2006?

They are already in BETA so I wouldn't be shocked if they were released in September or announced for fall release.

Even though my TiVo service is no longer active I still have my 140 hour box. I gave my 2 40 hour boxes away to friends who now love TiVo. If you have a DVR or PVR trust me when I say that TiVo is the best. I currently am using a Verizon FiOS HD DVR. Here is my two word quick review - it sucks. Don't get me wrong it has A LOT of great features - but the software running it is horrible. If they partnered up with TiVo it would be perfect. My parents have had DirecTV for years but are looking to switch once the transition away from TiVo is over. I don't blame them. TiVo is simply the best DVR/PVR on the market because of the great software. Once I move I am going back to TiVo and never leaving.

Now that I mentioned Nintendo - it made me think... what if Nintendo and TiVo have something cooking??? OMG! That would be freakin' sweet! This only comes to mind since Nintendo's big Wii reveal is on September 14th (my berfday!!!). Though this is as likely as a Nintendo/Apple partnership it would rock.
