The Guitar is a Hero for the Wii

There is a game out that is helping to promote the Wii. That game is Guitar Hero... for the PS2! The reason why this game will help sell the Wii is because it shows how much fun it is to play a game while acting out the movements in real life. It is a lot like DDR in this way.


The game is a little on the pricey side ($110 for 2 guitars & game), but the amount of fun you can have with this game makes it worth it. There is just something about games that get you active and involved with friends. This is an excellent party game for sure. The only negative thing about this game is the songs are TOO LONG. When jamming by yourself this works out great, but if you have a group waiting 4-5 minutes a song takes awhile. Imagine having 6 people in rotation - it could be close to 30 minutes between each of your turns on the game. I hope in GH2 they shorten the songs or give a "party mode" option that allows for shorter versions of the songs.
