"At Last We Shall Have Our Revenge." - Darth Maul
I know Revenge of the Sith has been out for over 2 months now, but I realized I forgot to let you know how reading the novel before the movie went. In short it went GREAT! I got all the insider info WAY before the movie and it was so much more detailed. I really loved that book, and it made me even more excited about the movie. The author, Matt Stover, left out somethings in the book so the readers still had a few surprises left when we saw the movie. I was very happy about that. When I saw the movie I thought it was fantastic, and after disliking the last two, I have a feeling by reading the book I got a better feel of the movie as a whole.
For instance, I had no problem with Anakin turning to the darkside since I knew all the thoughts of his mind, while some of the people I've seen the movie with say it felt a little forced. I also had no problem with the way Padme died. It felt a little cheesy on screen, but the extra detail in the book made it bearable. One thing the book didn't have .... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
In light of this I have decided to read The Chronicles of Narnia to prepare for the upcoming movie this winter. I cannot wait!
