BOO-YOK-YAK-SHA!
What a good weekend - and its only Saturday! Got my tax return in so you know what that means! Spending chedda like its nobodies biz-ness! Actually not really. I did pick up two new toys though.
One is a new celly, the LG PM-325. I wasn't sure about the phone at 1st since it looked so BIG on the Sprint site. The reason I ended up getting it though is because its the only Sprint phone that uses bluetooth technology. All that means is no more wire between my phone and the headset. So now I can be a safer driver. No longer trying to dial as I drive, I can use voice dial. It rocks. I'll give you an update once my headset comes in. Oh, and you wanna buy the headset from eBay, because they are like 60 bones cheaper than in the store. I wouldn't really say I bought this cause I got a mail in rebate for close to the price of the phone (well maybe not that close).
The other toy is a piece of DJ gear - the Numark CD-Mix 2. Since I sold the typical DJ set up of 2 turntables and a mixer back in November '04 I knew I needed a more feasible replacement. I needed something that would do what I needed, but wouldn't take up the same amount of room as my old set up (it took up all the room on a 3X5 table). Enter the CD-Mix 2. This thing does it all! 2 CDJ Players & 1 mixer built into the same unit - BOO YOK YAK SHA! (that is just something I came up with from the term "boo-yah" & Ali G's "boo-yakka-sha"). Anyway, this puppy fits on the corner of my desk when in use and in my bottom drawer when not. It's great.
Well I gotta get some h-weezy (homework) done and get ready for Canton tomorrow. First Monday Trade Days baby!
